SwedeTech Racing usually recommends a fuel filter for all of our applications. Small debris that is found in the fuel supply and improperly maintained kart fuel systems leads to floating debris. If not removed from your fuel, this debris will cause your carburetor to malfunction.
We prefer the Visu Filter 5/16" filter when used with standard karting fuel line ( 1/4" or 5mm ), this way we eliminate the restriction of the fuel filter nipples. We also prefer the single mesh design for less fuel restriction.
If you are using smaller fuel line, this filter may have nipples that are too large.
