SSE (not X30) 175cc Super Shifter by IAME, tested by SKUSA (SuperKarts USA) is a new entry into the shifter category. This engine is being groomed to replace the Honda CR125 engine package that has competed in the SKUSA Stock Moto Classes for years.
Like many other Italian built ICC / KZ Type Shifter engines, this kit includes the engine, Tillostson (not the Dellorto VHSH ) carburetor, inlet airbox, PVL ignition, exhaust pipe, Elto Silencer, magnesium engine mount, and external axle driven water pump assembly.
This version engine is not supplied with an on-board starter and there are not provisions at this time as an option.
IAME 175 SSE Super Shifter Specifications include:
- Single Cylinder 2-stroke (2t) made with cast iron sleeve
- Bore Diameter - 63.92mm
- Stroke - 54.40mm
- Displacement - approximately 175cc depending on piston size
- Intake is a reed valve system
- Dry Clutch Set up
- Tillotson HB-15A Butterfly style pumper carb
- 17T front driver
The SKUSA SSE 175 (IAME) is scheduled to compete in the 2019 racing season.
